Space to pause and foster your creativity
Mindful Art Workshops
These workshops focus on using mindfulness as a way in to more intuitive, process-led art making and creative expression. The aim is to provide a space to slow down, and to approach our creativity gently, and without pressure.
I believe that we are all creative. I want to support those who may be feeling anxious or unsure about how to access their creativity, those who feel it is a struggle to carve out creative time, those wanting to (re-)connect with their creative selves or for those curious about how to develop a creative practice to nurture their well-being.
I am a HCPC Registered Art Psychotherapist which means the workshops aim to provide a safe, containing space. Whilst they are not a formal Art Therapy group they draw upon core Art therapy principles and are therapeutic spaces to foster wellbeing.
They run every 3rd Wednesday evening 7-9pm and a Saturday 2-4pm each month (the Saturday session may be on a different week each month- so keep an eye out). Only 5 spaces per workshop.
From November the Saturday afternoon session will be regularly led by amazing Collage Artist, Shax and co-facilitated my myself.
This space is non-judgmental, gentle and nurturing.
Everything in the session is invitational.
You are free to go in your own direction.
No previous art skills or mindfulness knowledge required.
£20
All art mateiral and light refreshments provided.
