Creativity, Collaborative, Growth

Groups & Workshops

I run a range of groups and workshops at my community art studio in Walkley, Studio Comunità. They offer an opportunity to slow down, (re)connect with ourselves and others, and gain insight through a range of creative and holistic activites, mindfulness and reflection in a small group setting. I run some of the workshops myself, but also like to collaborate with other practioners and organizations to create spaces where rich and varied practices can come together. I also run more focused specialised workshops and groups to support specific groups of individuals who have shared experiences or needs.

All spaces are therapeutic, nurturing, holistic, reflective and creative.

What Our Participants Say

“Visited this lovely studio for a therapeutic art session. The cosy atmosphere and gently led session with Alex was a wonderful way to take time for myself and restore some much needed wellness. I’d highly recommend to all!”

“The art session at Studio Comunita was a calming and therapeutic experience. The environment was welcoming, and relaxed. Working with mixed media materials allowed me process my thoughts, and express myself creatively without any pressure. I would definitely do it again. A great addition to Walkley.”

“What an absolutely fantastic and fascinating evening . The idea of putting together and combining mindfulness and aromatherapy together in one evening is a truly wonderful experience. Not only was the evening thoroughly enjoyable but also I in particular came away more knowledgeable and self aware”
