Space to connect, learn and be creative

The Growing Up Workshop

Growing up and starting our periods brings about lots of change — to our bodies, our feelings, and our relationships. This fun, creative workshop gives parents and children a chance to spend some dedicated time together, learn about these changes and explore what can help us feel good as we grow in a creative and supportive environment.

Parent and child will create and decorate their own self-care box and fill it full of things that make them feel good, bring them joy, and practical things they may need during times of change.

Topics covered will be:

A gentle introduction to periods, period products and how our bodies begin to change

Getting to know our emotions as we grow

How to navigate growth and change with our friends
